2017-2018 FIS Moguls World Cup Agenda Confirmed. See you at Thaiwoo on December 21-22

The FIS annual spring meeting was held in Slovenia in June, 2017. The Olympic Winter Games (OWG), World Championship and World Cup events were fully discussed during the session and the agenda for the World Cup this year has been officially confirmed.

The FIS World Cup has just passed her 50th birthday. There will be more to expect for the coming 2017-2018 season with six grand events launching worldwide. The 2017-2018 season will also be a “OWG year”. Elite athletes will treat these coming events as pre-OWG training to adjust their mental and physical conditions, challenging tougher tasks to get their body and mind ready for the coming 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games.

Different from last year in that the annual ranking was already settled before the Thaiwoo FIS Moguls World Cup and elite athletes would like to compete for more medals and new records, athletes will definitely treat this upcoming Thaiwoo FIS Moguls World Cup as the pre-OWG training session and prepare themselves for the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games as Thaiwoo and Pyeongchang are both located in East Asia with only 1-hour time difference and shares a similar climate in winter. Thaiwoo will be the only venue located in East Asia during the 2017-2018 World Cup session.

The 2016-2017 session was the first World Cup event coming to Chongli and Thaiwoo made it a memorable success. Thousands of people came and watched it on site and it was broadcasted via TV, radio, internet etc. that drew the attention of millions of ski and snowboard lovers. What will Thaiwoo will bring you this season? Let wait and see this upcoming December!
